Everything was silent. Even as I moved along the dry patches of dirt, and dead patches of grass there was not a single sound vibrating from my heavy hooves. I thought it peculiar, and partly creepy; but I tried to ignore it. After all it was a pleasant morning. The fog was thick, forcing me to squint my emerald green eyes. My dial was raised, and started to rely on my nares for my location. I inhaled through them, my pelt twitching with exhaustion. I smelt two things, a scent; fortunately it was far off, and a consumable liquid. I increased my gait, a canter is what they call it. Within seconds I was by the small creeks side, and out of the fog. Relieved that I could see once more, I lowered my dial toward the flowing water. A patch of white mane covering my emerald green eyes. I remained on patrol as my salmon pink tongue peeped out to check the temperature of the liquid. It was cold, but not too cold to drink.

I rose my dial immediately to the sound of rustling leaves, my muscles tensing underneath my thick ebony black pelt. Only to relax once more to see a small tree nearby with he colors of autmn. It was vital to keep your eye out and let your harks remain alert; if I was discovered by a dark there were several conclusions. Rape, Death, Torture, Force Claimed and if your fortunate; a battle between words.

My long tail pierced the crisp air projecting a sound similiar to a whip. Snorting, I lowered my dial once more to the flowing surface of the clear liquid. It was Autumn, and food was dying and becming scarce. Around te brim of the creek you would be lucky just to find a few green blades of grass; but most of it was dead.

I heard a similiar sound to what I had heard previously. A rustle, but followed by steps. I froze, taking a few moments to regain myself. My body structure turned toward him, my dial raised high. I knew who he was. I didn't know his identity, but he had that same look in his eyes as any other ruler.

" My apologies. " It was no lower then a murmer but louder then a whisper. He nodded his head, I did not return the favour. Respect was something to be earned, not given at the rarest opportunity. He was broad shouldered and his pelt was similiar to one of a palimino; yet different entirely. I turned away from him, I knew this was not a wise move toward a Lord, or a King. But honestly, I couldn't care less. I was no dark, nor' was I light; so he had no authority over me. Neutrals never really have Kings and Queens and I had always thought myself to be a lone, I myself King and Queen of my own land, my own rules, and my own laws. I was not submitting to anyone, but I was dominating anyone either.

I remained silent, dial lowering toward the liquid's surface once more. I needed to drink as much water as possible. Soon enough it would be frozen, and therefore I would have to resort in breaking ice or licking snow. Something that was not entirely preffered, but it had to be done.

" You judge too quickly. " He had cut infront of me, and held his dial high. Judge? I had done no such thing. I tried to bite back the words that were bursting to be said, and so I approved them. " Judge? I have not judged. I simply turned, and got on with my morning drink. " I raised an eye brow at him, a cold wind blowing my main back on my neck; my emerald green eyes shining brightly. " Perhaps it is you, who has judged too quickly. " I paused, letting the silence increase the tension that could be cut with a knife through the crisp air. " But of course, I meant no offense. If you think I have judged you with high prejudice; I apologize if it had seemed that way. " It was true, my father had taught me to give respect to everyone. Whether they were little irritating scabs or preening young gentlemen; everyone deserved it. But it was meant to be earned, not given to everyone and anyone. " If you don't mind. " I had spoken to much, yet so little. And I knew speaking was one of the highest defenses or attacks anyone could have, and now, I was sure, was not the time to express it to him. I moved passed him, I was not quick with it this morning; I was tired, aching and exhausted. Sleep had granted me little over three hours and I had been on the run since this morning. I needed a drink, and I wasn't going to wait for him to move so I could get it. After all, I was my own ruler; I did not obey anyone or anything, it had to be earned.

ooc; Meep, she shouldn't have spoken too much, she wasn't supposed to. She is always silent, but I suppose this morning I could have granted her a little freedom. Only this once though. && when she does speak she speaks her heart, and her mind. God; sorry I am rambling again.

"Look, I don't know what the hell is your problem and I don't care. If you need a haven for the winter I can help you out otherwise..." Attitude, attitude. Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the meadow this morning. But maybe I hadn't woken up on the right side either, I did infact show disrespect. Even some leaders deserve respect. " I'll tell you what. " I moved closer toward him, my green eyes dark and intent on his rippling muscles. Wasn't a bad looker this one, wonder what his girlfriend thinks of him? " I think we rode off on the wrong foot. " I smirked at him, he was the first stag I had talked to more then a greeting in quite a while. But that was going to change quicker then I would realize. " Lets start over, shall we? Yes? Okay. " My nares flared, inhaling the liquids faint and close to transparent scent.

" My calling is Alexandra, and who might you be? " We had renewed our, what would I call it? Our aquaintance? But I was willing to start over, I wasn't looking forward to creating an enemy. But now, it was up to him to decide if he wanted to go on with the cherade or not. Friend? or foe?
